possible server project

well guys as many of you may know awile back i wanted to make a server video for youtube but the issue was it was a new map with not much built on it and what i have been thinking lately is that we need to do something big like really big something kinda like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ua3UD7dnVN8

There are over 30 people building it, at the same time. We rarely get over 10 people to join our server a day.

im not saying something of that scale im just saying like something like that a monument something that makes people stop and be like o.o they has serious skills .

Even if we would do something like that or wanted to, there are the following problems that prevent us:

-Server Downtime
-When normally up, server down will be exaclty when you can play
-Need to have 1000+ patience to region it
-Server changed maps too often, so yeah...

what does 2nd problem mean?

You know. You're like: "Today I want to play minecraft! Back on X-Land!"
You try to connect: "Connection refusued. Connect"

omgosh i just typed like alot and then i refreshed cause i thought it posted and now its gone -.- but anyway it does not need all of us to work on it at once and it can be built over like idk how ever long it takes theres no rush and as for downtime (spec eta on server up ) ?

Lots of planing for something even if its not to that scale let alone the main person in charge of the build has to have things set on how it should look. With a team of builders there normally is some type of quarrel between some people on what looks nice and what doesn't. Im sure these guys had it all planed out on paper first then went from there. Also you would need spec to give the ok for creative for the people that want to help. If you come up with a plan let me know. Might be fun to do something like that.

^ ahh noob you explain things soo well what i was thinking was that a few people maybe 3 or 4 start building and everyone build stuff that looks like what those 4 are building thats what they do with fyreuk and it seams to work great.
